Dr. Landman graduated from the University of Michigan and went on to obtain his medical degree at the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. His residency was completed at the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, and his fellowship at the Washington University Division of Urology. He has served as the chair of the Department of Urology since January 2011 and was previously a director of minimally invasive urology in the Department of Urology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York.
Dr. Landman developed and tested ablation devices that are now used for minimally invasive ablation of renal tumors and malignancies. His research allowed him to pioneer the combined antegrade and retrograde approach for treatment of complex kidney stones.
Dr. Lamdman saved my life. He performed a total nephrectomy on my right kidney in 2017. My healing and recovery continues to be phenomenal. I can’t thank this man enough for doing an impeccable job on my surgery. It’s been three years now since my surgery and I feel great with no relapse. I highly recommend Dr. Landman and the UCI team for anyone who is newly diagnosed and looking an incredible Dr.
